Sony Now Offering Cyberpunk 2077 Refunds

Cyberpunk 2077 Accounts Sony is reportedly refunding Cyberpunk 2077 players unhappy with the game's performance on PS4 even past the typical two-hour playtime limit.

Apparently not everyone’s been so lucky but a number of folks have shared that after filing a claim online and speaking with a support rep they managed to get a refund. Furthermore one Redditor even said that Sony is going to be issuing a business complaint to CD Projekt Red. As of yet however the tech giant has yet to put out an official comment on the situation.

Reddit reports that there are many submissions to Sony and one PlayStation representative has even mentioned that they receive tons of phone calls regarding this particular issue. Aside from the drops to 720p and 15fps on the standard PlayStation 4 some aspects of the title are completely broken and regular crashes UI issues and bugs in tasks can spoil the fun more than poor graphics. CD Projekt has also come under fire for its use of crunch during the development of Cyberpunk. In September 2020 CD Projekt told employees it would require them to work six-day weeks until the game's November launch (it was subsequently delayed to December) breaking a previous promise not to force compulsory overtime to finish the project.
